I liked the overall plot too even if its presentation is hilariously cheesy even more so than the other Tales games I played.

It always amuses me when people praise the hilariously over the top “forced cool” ‘Ratatosk mode’ for an inaccurate description version of Emil. I love that the same voice actor does both though, and when people praise the over the top ‘cool’ voice while blasting the intentionally wimpy voice.

They have decent to good story, and a wonderfully crafted fighting system that makes you want to fight more and more, even the same enemys over and over. Set two years after the events of the award-winning Tales of Symphonia for the Nintendo GameCube, Dawn of the New World follows the journey of two new young heroes, Emil Castagnier and Marta Lualdi, as they seek to uncover the mystery of why their world has fallen into ruin.
